There is a pretty graphic sex scene, so if you're embarrassed easily don't watch it with your dad or whatever.
Then the timing gets really weird and no one even slightly ages over the span of what might be two years but also might be 19 years. The main girl nervously goes to a gay bar by herself, feels uncomfortable in her school environment and thinks she's dating someone because they kissed once - it's all VERY ACCURATE. They really encompass all of the feelings you have when you're trying to figure your shit out. The first 30 minutes of this movie are incredible. (Unless, of course, we're stealing our parents' Netflix password, in which case look for the same thing via illegal downloads.) Most of what we see on television and in movies doesn't show us much past the boy-meets-girl narrative, and so a common response to the 'Oh God I think I'm gay' moment is to Netflix the shit out of any and every big gay movie we can find.
